Steffanie Medina and Jessica Dell from Creative Mediation spoke about the services they provide for San Luis Obispo County. Creative Mediation is a non-profit organization that has free and low-cost services for anyone wanting their services.
Creative Mediation offers a variety of facilitation services in San Luis Obispo County, both to the general public and to families referred from Child Welfare Services. Juvenile Dependency Mediation is a low cost service that allows the minor to have a voice in the decision making. Elder Mediation is also available to help with families solve issue of homecare, safety, money and family disputes.
Some of the free services include landlord issues, tenant (roommate issues), small claims court, neighbor to neighbor, etc.
