PDG Brenda Cressey from Paso Robles who is now on the Rotary International Board for the Foundation spoke about the gifts we contribute to help our local and global neighbors. We as Rotarians are doing humanitarian work every day in the world. Our Polio project remains our top project followed by clean water & sanitation projects, global projects that are sustainable as on-going projects for the citizens we are trying to help. Brenda spoke about a wheel chair project she was privilege to be a part of, how a young man carried his grandfather in the room to receive a wheel chair, the smile on the grandfather's face, his hands raised up in the air to praise God, the tears in the eyes of the Rotarians, the tears streaming down the face of the grandson. This man's life was changed in that moment, as well as the boy, the family, the Rotarians that witness the joy & the life changing moment. This is Rotary.
