The RC of Los Osos joined the Morro Bay, Cayucos and Cambria Clubs in a beach restortation project with the CA State Rangers on Saturday April 24.

CA State Park Ranger John lead us on sensitive habitant to the sand dunes, where we were instructed to remove non-native grasses and also be on the look-out for snails. Not just any snail or escargot but the endangered Morro Shoulderbanded Snail. Several snails were found and left undisturbed. We also saw the Coast Range snail and a California snail all important elements in our Coastal native ecosystems.
