A message from President Daudi

Fellow Los Osos Rotarians, I am very proud of the work you do in our community and around world. You make me very proud to be your president and a member of the most far sighted and active Rotary Club in the world. I want to use this opportunity to remind each one of us that the majority of people in our community do not have the same information or contacts we have outside of our community and yet they would very much love to help out when a tragedy like that in Haiti occurs. I am asking that each one of us be open minded and look out for opportunities to help others so that they can also help. Our contribution to the Haitian relief effort will go a long way if we reach out to our community and ask for their involvement. We know that our district is collecting funds to send to Haiti and we can help them by passing on that information to our community. Please emphasize the fact that 100 percent of all monies received by Rotary will be sent to the intended recipient. That is how Rotary operates. No overheads and no administrative costs.
