The Community Center was full of life, song, joy and delicious food flowing out of the kitchen to the 16 beautifully decorated tables on Tuesday night. Our most senior guest was 98 with several 94's who were proud to receive one of the artistic ginger bread houses created by the hardworking 4-h club servers. While the 128 seniors were feasting, the 15 Choral singers were on stage filling the room with cheerful Holiday songs.
The roasted with love turkeys, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce and gravy were delivered hot with logistic efficiency to everyone in the room.
Apple, pecan and pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream followed with a choice of coffee or hot cider.
The ample leftovers were happily received by the Maxine-Lewis Homeless Shelter.
A triple cheer to the Rotary Club of Los Osos!!!
