It all started in TorranceCalifornia January 8th 1979 at 11:23 in the A.M. Michael Ross Wambolt came to the world with the help of Christine and Ross Wambolt.
 
His parents divorced in 1980 and in 1985 his mom remarried Bruce Wright whom he also calls his Dad. They all moved to Canyon Country California then to Valencia when he went into the 4th grade. Growing up it became very apparent that he had a knack for athletics. In high school he lettered nine times in varsity sports baseball, basketball, track & field and football being the most important from which he received a full scholarship to University of Colorado Boulder. Due to sport related issues he transferred to PalomarJunior College. In the spring of 1998 he was diagnosed with testicular cancer which changed his life prospective drastically. In need of change from the athletic life he once knew, he took a trip to Europe where his parents were living.  Traveling with Contiki Tours around Europe opened his eyes to a whole new world and an unexpected job opportunity with Contiki Travel.  While working in the European cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, Rome and roaming the around the world for four years it was time to come home. His parents retired in Arroyo Grande where he now lays his head as home.
