Mike Leon, New Member Induction

President Cavanaugh, assisted by Mike's sponsor, Scott Nichols, inducted Mike as a new member of the Club. Mike was presented with a new member packet and red badge of courage. He was recognized as a person who believes in the Rotary Motto, "Service Above Self", the Rotary ideals and will be a worthy member of the Club.

Mike , a former member of the Nipomo Club, said he was glad to be coming back to the Five Cities Area and proud to be a member of our club. He has lived here all of his life; attended high school here, CuestaCollege and Cal Poly. He married his first grade best friend and high school sweetheart, Sally; and, they have four children. Mike is a Rotary Masters PERLS graduate and a Paul Harris Fellow. He works for CuestaCollege as an assistant to the Vice President for Student Services and is currently coordinating academic support and a tutorial center. On the weekends, he listens to jazz. We all welcome Mike Leon to the Club!
