He was born and raised in Modesto. He retired out of the sheet metal industry and said that he might as well be broke here than in Modesto so the family moved to the Five Cities area. In 2002 he entered the field of real estate, specializing in commercial properties.

Together, he and his wife have four boys, two grandsons and one granddaughter, the princess. When reminded about Modesto Friday/Saturday night McKinley street cruises, he readily admitted that he enjoyed driving his '72 Nova up and down the street for hours; and, later, drinking beer with friends alongside the nearby irrigation canals waiting for the Sheriff to show up. When asked about commercial property costs, he said that downtown Pismo Beach is the most expensive; however, property leasing costs in some areas are now at a low $1.75/sq ft. The west end of Grover Beach has the best opportunity for investment; that and the commercial area around the SLO airport. THANKS, JIM, GOOD JOB!
