President Cavanaugh welcomed everyone attending the overflow luncheon meeting honoring and feeding the Grover Beach Public Safety workers. The meeting was held at the Grover Beach Fire Station at the corner of Rockaway and 8th St. The meeting is a part of the Club's vocational business visit outreach and is one of two expected for the year. She said that the public safety employees are a vital part of any community and that we, as well as everyone else in the community, appreciate the work they do. Later in the day, as reported by one of our members, the fire folks said they were stuffed and happy and they appreciated the recognition. The food was provided by the wonderful and marvelous caterer, Stacked Sandwiches. Yum!
