gave us an update on the forthcoming, April 25th, Bowl-A-Thon, urging each member to find at least one team. She anticipates 32 teams competing in this fun affair. Each member is also urged to find at least one business that will pay $100 to post a banner during the tournament and for thirty days thereafter. The event theme is "disco" and teams will be encouraged to dress accordingly.

reports that the McGruff event is on schedule. Local elementary school assemblies will be held the last week in March and April.
... Ms. Sansoni, to celebrate president's day, read the Gettysburg Address. President Lincoln's speech was moving, awesome and historical. Some members, remembering their school days, recited the speech along with Sandra.
... Kevin Woolley presented a Rotary minute, reminding members about the sharing gift of Rotary.
... Breven Baima presented an Oxnard Club flag to the Club. He said he learned all about roses at the meeting.
