Club Assenby Highlights

President Scott Nichols kicked off the meeting with updates from the last Board Meeting.   

1.  1st major fundraiser is September 24th Bands Burgers & Brews to be held at Man Rock Brewing.  Tickets are available to sell at $50 ea, see Michael Hunstad.  

2.  Rosa's is increasing the cost for lunch effective August 1st to $21.00 price is locked in for 2 years.

3.  Save the date - August 31st Member Reunion Party held at Breven's

4.  Rotary workday vests are being ordered

5. We'll be giving a Rotary Pen as a gift to our speakers

6.  Please use the front entrance - we are testing out a new seating format.

 

Bruce Ekmanian - Treasurer

Asked that we pay your bill and that invoices are sent out by email.  If you are not getting your invoice make sure Bruce has the correct email for you. You can also find your bill on clubrunner.

 

Steve Curry - International and Foundation

The President will be giving out 1 Paul Harris this year.  We are on track to give 7 Paul Harris's  The money given to the Foundation is used in 1.  designated for annual giving  and 2.  money in RI is used for grants that brings money back into our district.  We have two (2) grants for this year  the bench at the Pismo Preserve, which we went in with the Pismo Club and for the track meet we have in May.

 

We can join with other clubs in the district on other international projects.  We are also going to again sponsor our two (2) student in Uganda.
