Vocational/Community Services Chair, Scott Nichols

This year packs a heavy schedule for this mighty club and local service to our community;

  • Pancake Breakfast for the Vets
  • Thanksgiving Dinner for the seniors
  • Socks For Seniors
  • 10 Year Anniversary Celebration for our Club
  • GB Park clean up (adopt a park)
  • Coast 4 Kids
  • Halloween Carnival
  • Holiday Parade
  • Boys and Girls Christmas Party
  • Rotary Prom-Fundraiser

Vocational-we will be visiting four businesses this year.

International Chair-Lisa Evans

Lisa spoke of the board's desire to continue setting up surgical trips abroad. She addressed the fact that we did not ascertain a sustainable grant approval but can either tether on to another club's surgical project, or possibly make one of our own with the other three local clubs again.

New Generations Chair-Anthony Salas

Anthony spoke to the group about the youth line up of activities we have in store for the year.

  • 4 Way Essay Tests/Awards

Membership-Sandy Nichols

Sandy spoke on how this month is membership month and that we are part of the 'Ignite Program' which is a point system for clubs in enhancing their membership. She spoke of how we could elicit an end of the year award with a prize for most points. She also addressed that she had 'Be My Guest' cards to hand out to each member to pass out to possible invites.
