Balster Resigns

Mike Balster recently submitted his resignation which was reluctantly accepted by the Board. Mike has been an extremely active member of the Club for almost four years. He developed the Club's web site and has served as web site master; he has served as the manager of the Club Bulletin, the Ocean View, and manager of the Club's Public Relations program.
He has received Club awards including Rotarian of the Year. Richard Roberts, Mike's sponsor, said, "We will miss him but Mike will continue his community work as an active member of the Oceano Elks Club; next year he will be installed as the Club's Exalted Ruler." The club sang a sincere and rousing rendition of "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" in tribute to Mike's many Club contributions.
