An Update on the New Cuesta College's South County Campus

The Rotary Club of Grover Beach-Five Cities welcomes Cuesta College Superintendent/President Dr. Jill Stearns and also fellow Rotarian with the Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo. On July 1, 2018, Dr. Stearns became its seventh Superintendent/President of the San Luis Obispo County Community College District (Cuesta College). She brought to the college six years of experience as President of Modesto Junior College, along with a passion for accreditation, facilities planning, curriculum, and student success. Her background in distance education, financial aid, and advancement has been fundamental to her vision for equity in student outcomes and completion. Dr. Stearns is pleased to share the exciting plans for Cuesta College’s new South County Campus in Arroyo Grande bordering near Grover Beach.
