Totally successful! Saturday evening’s Totally Tables was packed with nearly 100 attendees and their amazingly decorated tables. All in support of the Friends of the Ridgecrest Branch Library.”
Totally Tables 2024!
There were 12 tables, each beautifully decorated according to the table-sponsor’s theme: Apre Skiing, Aviation, Bakers, Blue and White, Cruising, Elemental-EARTH, Wind-Fire-and-Water, Fall, Falling for Books, Feelin' Groovy (2 tables), Football, and Peter Rabbit (the Interactor’s table). What’s more, the theme for many of the tables spilled over into a dazzling array of costumes worn by the diners. The imagination, creativity, and design on display at the dinner was truly impressive.

Betty Miller, who proposed the idea for this annual event, and leads the effort every year, said this about this year’s Totally Tables, “The energy has been amazing. People came in in waves to decorate their tables, and some stayed after they were finished to enjoy visiting with everyone and admiring the other table’s decorations.” Thank you Betty. Your efforts made this event a memorable occasion!
Apre Skiing
The Ridgecrest Branch Library is funded by Kern County, but receives less than 20% of the money that the average Libraries in the State do. The more than $6,000 raised by Totally Tables will be put to good use.
