The Salvation Army is asking for our support to provide gifts for disadvantaged Teens in Ridgecrest through their annual Angel Tree Program.

This year the Angel Tree program will be assisting children 13-18 years old and if you would like to sponsor one or more children, please complete the application attached to my October 31st email and send it back, BEFORE 20 November, to Major Michelle: Michelle.Thielenhaus@usw.salvationarmy.org (Note: the form says 01 November, but we actually have until 20 November to reply).

Once your form is received, Michelle will then assign a child or children to you and then the community giving fun begins!

The tag/tags you get from her will have one (1) NEED Item and two (2) WISH items from each child as well as any clothing sizes and now it's time for you to go shopping!!!!

Here are your shopping rules:
* Read the angel tag and get them the items they want in the right sizes
* All gifts are to be new and unwrapped!
* Attach the angel tag you get to the gifts you purchase
* All gifts must be dropped off to The Salvation Army (or I can take them there for you if you bring them to one of our lunches)
* All gifts MUST be turned in on or before, MONDAY, DECEMBER 8th so that the children can receive it in time for Christmas

This is one of only two ways that the Salvation Army has asked for our Club's support this year so let's do our very best to fill as many wishes for these teens as we can!

Thank you all for your continued and generous support of our wonderful community - and feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
