On Saturday night, twenty-one potential members gathered around the fire pit and ejoyed beer and wine provided by Sean and Eric, with Laura Metcalf providing food and supplies.
Ms. Metcalf ran the meeting at which those gathered picked a chair, vice-chair, and secretary for the satellite club. Project lead Mary Lundstrom said about the event; “I am going to be submitting the application this week for club status. It was a great turnout! I have 14 applications turned in so far. Six are outstanding. I hope to get those this week…It is a great group.”
Thank you from Mary Lundstrom to Sean and Eric for the use of their house and yard! Thank you also to the Rotarians supporting the event; Julia Morse, and Daniel Lagunez. Mary said Julia is a cleaning powerhouse! She was such a hard worker cleaning up after everyone and seeing they had what they needed. Daniel is going to make a good liaison between the two clubs. He helped with the voting and anything the club needed.”
