How many of you Rotarians want to help Salvation Army this holiday season and ring the bell for a great cause and even have some fun?! Besides the good-hearted cheer that this service-above-self opportunity will give you, it’s also a friendly competition with Kiwanis to see which one of us can raise more money during our time slots.
Here are the slots that Rotary Club of China Lake has signed up for and if there’s not a name next to it, then it’s open:
(non-Flex) FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12 at Stater Bros:
10am-12pm - Ricca Charlon and Stephanie Hudson
12pm-2pm - Linda and Howard McCauley
2pm-4pm
4pm-6pm - Riley Morris
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 20 at Stater Bros:
10am-12pm - Dan Kus and Patty Wharton
12pm-2pm – Ricca Charlon and Stephanie Hudson
2pm-4pm - Todd and Gina St. Laurent
4pm-6pm - Jim Hoover and Angela Alvarado
Email or text me to let me know if you want a shift(s) and I’ll sign you up. I’ll also have a sign-up sheet with me each week I’m at lunch so you can sign up with me there as well.
If you can’t ring the bell for us this year, please consider donating money that you can come and drop off at some point on either the 12th or 20th so that it counts toward us kicking Kiwanis’ butt again this year! (Pardon my not so community service spirited language 😊)
Please note that this is the only other opportunity for Rotary to support Salvation Army this holiday season so let’s do it right and get these shifts covered and drop lots of money into the buckets.
