2015 Rotary District Conference

Howdy Everyone! Now is the time to mark your calendars for Rotary 5240 District Conference in Bakersfield: October 2nd thru 4th.   There is a whole bunch of people who have been working very hard to make this an exciting and fun event especially for you.  In fact, we have designed this District Conference with the maximum amount of fun allowed by law!  And we’re going to push that to the limit!  Don’t tell anyone but we’ve pulled all the boring speeches and just kept the best parts.   From the reception Friday night in Downtown Bakersfield where you’ll receive a warm welcome and “Rotary Passport” giving you special pricing from our downtown merchants, to discovering Saturday night the birthplace of the country music phenomenon known world-wide as the “Bakersfield Sound”,  your smile will be wide and contagious!   

While here, please abide by these two rules: no ties, and….Enjoy Rotary!   Come!  Join us!  Get recharged! Get moved! We’ll have more fun than the law allows!  I guarantee it!

Lodging

There is a group room block at the Bakersfield Marriott.  The room rate is $107 and the last day to reserve a room at that rate is September 1, 2015.  We suggest booking early if you want to be at the District Conference hotel...which makes enjoying the club hospitality suites so much more fun (and you don't have to worry about a designated driver).
