The Future of Oil and Gas Production on the Central Coast

The current and future outlook of oil and gas production along the central coast depends on what we as a society decide to do in terms of legislating and regulating the petroleum industry’s ability to extract, transport and refine the energy we depend on. To help inform our thinking and hopefully our current and future discourse in this area, Bob Poole, Director of Production at Western States Petroleum Association will provide an overview of recent and ongoing legislative and regulatory activities affecting the production of California coastal domestic petroleum.
