Pancho Barnes

Barbara Schultz will share the astounding story of Pancho Barnes—from unhappy socialite-debutant to pioneer aviator, founder of the first movie stunt pilots' union, Women's Air Derby racer and member of the Ninety-Nines.  In later years, Pancho was the owner of the Happy Bottom Riding Club, a bar and restaurant in the Mojave Desert catering to the test pilots and aviators who worked nearby. Barbara is the author of  Pancho: The biography of Florence Lowe Barnes.
