One of BERC’s largest projects this year is partnering with other Rotary clubs, Rotaract and Interact clubs and the White Wolf Wellness Foundation to create an interpretive nature trail at Camp Okihi. The camp, a former Boy Scout camp on the shore of the Kern River, has fallen into a state of major disrepair and is being restored by the White Wolf Wellness Foundation. There is a lot of work to be done and the following dates have been selected as work dates at the camp. All work dates will start at 8:00 AM and finish by 11:00 AM.
Camp Okihi is located on Round Mountain Road, 6.3 miles east of the intersection of China Grade Loop and Round Mountain Road.
