Space Shuttle Challenger Performance

Madeline Abernathy, Bakersfield Christian High School Class of 2019, travelled recently to Washington, D.C., for her fourth consecutive National History Day competition. Madeline’s 10-minute performance on the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster earned fifth place in the nation! Madeline won four  back-to-back California History Day championships to qualify for the annual national competitions.
