Nearly fifty members of the Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach and Pismo Beach Rotary Clubs participated in Rotary Work Day on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Future Farmers of America (FFA) fields at Arroyo Grande High School.

Club members worked side by side to install pipe and faucets at the facility. They placed slats in the fence to block the wind and to
shade some of the animals. Additionally, they sanded and painted the gates, fences and stalls for the animals.

Afterwards, the Rotarians were rewarded with a barbecue provided by the parents of the students who are members of the FFA. This Rotary Work Day project was coordinated by Steve DeRose of Arroyo Grande High School along with Steve Curry of the Pismo Beach Rotary Club and Bill Smith and Mike Cavaletto of the Arroyo Grande Club.
