For the first time in Rotary District 5100 history, the District Training and the District Conference were combined for one special weekend to learn, inspire and celebrate. The One Conference, May 19-22, at Seaside, Oregon was a huge success after three long years. For Creekside Rotarians, one of the best is presentations is our own Grand Slam Story Winner, Ginger Page.
Rotarians once again gathered to take part in the 40 learning session, everything from Leadership, Membership, Public Image, Service, TRF, Youth and much more. There was something for
everyone, great engaging speakers: Elizabeth McCormick - Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot, Rotary International Director Vicki Puliz, Lou Radja and Joe "Metal Cowboy" Kurmaskie, along with dynamic presentations, fellowship and even the sun beamed every day. We were entertaining by outgoing Youth Exchange Students, heard from outgoing and incoming District Governors and joined Seaside Rotarians in excursions and beach cleanup and of course, our own Grand Slam Story Winner, Ginger Page.
