HELP IS ON THE WAY with Creekside Rotarians! The Rotary Club of Salem Creekside believes that a strong education is the way to success, a better innovative future and a strong economic outlook for the country as a whole. With a good education students acquire the skills for meaningful employment, increased earning power, control over their lives and the ability to turn dreams into reality. The Rotary Club of Salem Creekside donated $5,000 to the Assistance League of Salem Keizer Auxiliary, ensuring that students in the Salem Keizer School District have the supplies necessary for a successful school year. “With the pandemic these last couple of years, students have enough to think about without worrying about school supplies.”
August 30 - 3, Rotarians helped transport boxes of pencils, pens, binders, markers, etc. from the supply warehouse and Centennial school to Weddle Elementary. There they boxed up requested supplies for all the Title Once Schools. District personnel then transported the pallets to the appropriate school. “A good education gives everyone confidence, and the ability to make the world a better place.”
