Sharon Johnson is a retired teacher after more than 20 years of dedicated service. Her endorsements range from Home Economics, Health, Reading and  Early Childhood Development. Before her teaching carrier, she was a bookkeeper, Farmers Insurance underwriter and employeed by the Bank of America.  Raised in Glendale California, where she received her Associate Degree from Glendale Community College, followed by Bachelors from Oregon State and graduate work at UCLA and WOSC. 
Sharon has always been involved in the community. After her move to Salem in 1970, she became a cub schout leader, Liberty School PTA member, chair of Carnival and delivered Meals on Wheels. She was also involved in the  Liberty Boone Neighborhood Association, Salem Energy and Conversation Committee, Marion County Solid Waste Commission, Governor Atiyeh's Energy Task Force, City CLub and Past President of the League of Women voters. She is a member of the Institute of Continued Learning at Willamette University. 
She has two sons and five grandsons that consume most of her current time and energy. Sharon became a Rotarian, Thursday, December 17th. We welcome her to the Rotary family at Salem Creekside.
