“Salem-Creekside Rotary has consistently supported Marion-Polk Food Share," said President Maria Mokrai. In a typical year, Marion-Polk Food Share provides about 9 million pounds of food to our community. Now in the middle of the pandemic they have seen a huge increase. During the last three months they have been able to share about 3.3 million pounds of food, that’s 3 million meals to those in need!

“Of course, none of this would be possible without the support of volunteers and community members. Thanks to donors and volunteers, like the Salem-Creekside Rotary, we are able to continue to meet the increasing needs of our community,” said Amy Hammerstrom, Volunteer Coordinator, Marion Polk Food Share.
