Save the Date - Aquafest

The club's Aquafest Committee met again this week and are working full swing on making this a successful, fun event.

JD has come up with a great idea to have a kickoff event of a Jimmy Buffet BBQ. The BBQ will be open to the public and admission would be the purchase of 3 Duck Dash tickets. Once in, the dinner and fun are free!

This idea is in development stage and still has to be approved by the board, but please let us know what you think.

Other news to report:
We are working on the prizes we will offer. If you have any suggestions, please let JD or Debe know.

Lisa is working on ticket sales and promotion. If you want to be a sponsor on the back of the tickets, please talk with her.

David Johnson is helping get donations of food items. If you have suggestions, or can help him with this, please let him know.

Dean is working on the Duck Dash splash and float on Sunday of Aquafest. If you have information on permits, or will help with this, please talk with him.

Kathy Little and Tracy, our awesome food booth coordinators, are taking it on again! Shift schedules will be posted on the website for you to indicate your preference.

Lisa Clawson and Barbara Knowles are handling the Diaper Dash. More to come.
