Literacy Seminar

Dear Rotarians and Friends:
Literacy is one of five service project priority areas emphasized by RI President John Kenny. Please share this letter with your club members and plan to have representatives from your club attend the second annual District 5050 Literacy Seminar on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Hampton Inn in Bellingham.
Put this date on your calendar today because
- The day will be action packed with guest speakers, exhibits and a unique opportunity to share ideas, and learn new tools while celebrating Rotary Literacy month.
- Your attendance will count towards the District and International literacy awards for 2009-10.
- You will be able to record your literacy programs and get the recognition you deserve or exhibit your club's literacy programs and share the work that is going on around the district.
- When you bring a new or gently used children's book and enter a draw that might find you taking all the books back for use in your community.
