Our guest speaker on Friday, September 5th was Karla Marsh, Kids Kloset Tiny Tots in Arlington. Over 1,200 wardrobes given away each year. Founded in 2005, Kid's Kloset offers new and quality used clothing, new shoes, and personal hygiene products to low-income students, K-12th grade, in the Arlington, Darington, Granite Falls and Lakewood School Districts, FREE of charge.
This service is available to students qualifying for free or reduced lunch, school referrals, and unhoused or unaccompanied youth. There mission is to enhance learning by boosting self-esteem through meeting children's clothing needs in a welcoming, positive environment. Most of their clients are single moms. In 2024, Kids' Kloset expanded with the addition of Tiny Tots, serving children from Birth to 5T. Tiny Tots provides free clothing, shoes, toys, books, diapers, and wipes to anyone in need.
