On May 20th we awarded over $10,000 in scholarships to six graduating Lake Stevens High School seniors. The student's collective contributions to our community and future goals are truly inspiring. Scholarship criteria included grades, school and community activities, leadership positions, special recognitions, awards and honors. Students also wrote an essay and participated in an interview with Rotarians.
 

Bailey Hall—New York University, psychology and international relations

Parker Reid—Whitworth University, math education

Karen Hoffman—Carroll College, pediatric cardiothoracic surgery

Katie Ellis—Washington State University, fashion and marketing

Alexis Hepburn—Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Honors Program, aerospace engineering

Kailee Hunsberger—Everett Community College, international business and design (Kailee also received the Sam Low Scholarship)

 
Parents, Sisters, Friends, Teachers, the High School Principal and School District Administrators joined Rotarians for the presentations to this year's scholarship recipients. The Rotary Club of Lake Stevens thanks the community for its support of our Scholarship program. We congratulate this year's recipients and wish them the best as they continue their studies.
