How a career as a spy helped raise resourceful, self-sufficient kids

Christina has written the book LICENSE TO PARENT: How My Career as a Spy Helped Me Raise Resourceful, Self-Sufficient Kids. The book is part memoir, part parenting guide and tells the story of my career at the CIA, how I met my husband, Ryan, and my journey into parenthood. Instead of becoming the helicopter parent I always envisioned I'd be, I use what I learned at the CIA to give my kids more autonomy than I expected. We share how we use these CIA-inspired principles with our five kids and give practical takeaways--everything from how to spot and avoid danger to writing and communication skills. The goal is simple: provide parents with the tools necessary to raise well-rounded, security-conscious children.
