Did you know that our Club is a member of the Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce? We are and to find out more about the Chamber come to this week's meeting and hear from Managing Director Matt Tabor. Matt will give us an update about our Chamber and its impact in our community.

Lake Stevens Youth Council

It was such a pleasure to hear from members of the Lake Stevens Youth Council on Friday, January 21st at our Regular scheduled club meeting. Pictured but in no order are Owen Johnson, Jack Johnson, Anisa Yaser, Emma Miner and Lily Scrivens. The Council members were asking for support from our Club to endorse their proposal to Lake Stevens City Council to add a sidewalk to Cedar Street, a street commonly used by students and the track team.

Club members and the Board members agreed to support their request to Lake Stevens City Council and was signed by Club President Reshal Ploeger. The proposal ask the City Council to build a sidewalk on Cedar Road from 20th St. NE to 29th St. NE. Citing the road as being well-used thoroughfare for youth traveling to the High School and is devoid of sidewalks.

Our regular Rotary Club Meetings are at the Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center lower level Community Room located at 12309 22nd St NE. We start at 7:30 am. Click here for the online link. There will not be any breakfast served. However, coffee will be available. Visitors are always welcome.
