Happy New Year
The members of the Rotary Club of Lake Stevens want to wish you and your family a very Happy New Year! May you start off the new year with the wish for a wonderful 2022.
This Week's Meeting
The Club is not meeting this week. However, there is an informal gathering at The Buzz Inn in downtown Lake Stevens.

The Club thanks President-Nominee Don Iverson for spearheading the drive to have a Boat Parade on Lake Stevens last week. See the article below. From all reports participants and observers had fun despite the cold.

The link to our YouTube Channel is now available on our website and our weekly bulletins. You can view recent online meetings. If you watch any of them, you can count it as a makeup. Just let our Secretary, Gary O'Rielly know.

Rotary Club of Lake Stevens Inaugural Holiday Boat Parade
Inspired by Don Iverson, President Nominee, the Rotary Club of Lake Stevens launched its inaugural Holiday Boat Parade on Lake Stevens on December 23rd. Don says that a dozen decorated boats braved the rain, at first but dry and cold the rest of the way and turned out for the event that started at North Cove Park. Both rowing clubs participated as well as some private parties. The boat above was Don and Eve's highly decorated Christmas boat. Next year is in the planning stages for after Thanksgiving according to early reports. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Stay tuned. Your Rotary Club in action.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Inspirational Breakfast
On January 17th, in lieu of our regular meeting, the Club has decided to forgo the meeting and many of us will be attending the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Inspirational Breakfast. If you are interested in attending, please let President Reshal Ploeger know as soon as possible. Tickets to the breakfast are $30.
