This week we have our Annual Celebration and Officers Installation Banquet. It is Sunday evening at the Lake Stevens Senior Center. So, there will NOT be a regular Friday morning meeting. However, there will be an informal gathering at The Buzz Inn that morning. President Gary will have Duck Dash tickets for you to pick up if you want them before the banquet. That would be a great way to get a jump on ticket sales.
Members - Please make sure you have registered for the Installation Banquet at our Club's website. (A few of you need to do that!) We need to know how many are coming so that we can let the caterer know. Thank you.
Two of our new members were formally inducted into Rotary at this morning's meeting. Club Membership Chair, Jim Steinruck, welcomed Scott Carson and Ron Rasmussen to the Club presenting them with packets of materials including the handbook on all things Rotary. Scott's sponsor, Jim Haugen and Ron's sponsor, James Monroe, then presented each with their new Rotary pins. We look forward to getting to know each of you. Welcome to Rotary Ron and Scott!

Today was President Gary O'Rielly's last regular meeting of his term. He thanked everyone for their support and helping achieve several goals. One of the major goals was an increase in net membership. This was accomplished with the addition of five new members during this Rotary year. This resulted in a net increase of three members. Gary also, on behalf of the Club, presented four organizations in our community with donations.
Joyce Bell accepted a donation on behalf of the Lake Stevens Senior Center.
Kathleen Friend, Executive Director of the Lake Stevens Family Center, accepted a donation to support the programs her Center offers the families of Lake Stevens.
Gary presented the new Lake Stevens Food Bank Director, Tracy Vincent, with a donation for the Food Bank. She is pictured here with Club President Gary O'Rielly, President-Elect Bill Demeroutis and Secretary Jim Haugen.

Congratulations to Peyton LeDuc, daughter of David LeDuc, Cubmaster of our Cub Scout Pack, on being one of the top ten students of the Class of 2015 at Lake Stevens High School. She will be continuing to support Purple and Gold by attending the University of Washington.
