Second Half Map by Gerontologist Jennifer Fry
Jennifer Fry, Second Half Map...."What's Next For You" spoke to our Club last Friday. What's Next For You is one of the most common questions asked before retirement. Yet, most of us have not considered or created a plan for what they'll do and how to live with meaning and purpose.

Jennifer spoke to our Club and encouraged us that there are five ways to get started. Start the dialogue now and engage trusted advisors as well as sharing your ideas for the future; create a transition plan-its never too early to consider "what's next"; discover your passion-are you putting something on hold; don't go cold turkey; and last stay connected, socially and professionally.

Retirement is changing. Over 10,000 baby boomers turn 65 every day. And, one million baby boomers are expected to live to 100. As a result, 50% say they will continue to work and 61% report they are feeling younger than their age. Baby boomers were those born between 1946 and 1964. There are 80 million baby boomers representing 29% of the population.

Jennifer's group offers a chance for you to let them be your guide. They serve, individuals 1-5 years from retirement or currently retired; couples creating a plan together; business owners and professionals transitioning ownership and careers and employers offering planning solutions to pre and post retirees. Jennifer can be reached at jfry@advantagedevco.com. She is a business owner and gerontologist with twenty-five years of experience coaching and consulting individuals and businesses to embrace behaviors that improve well being and lead to more fulfillment in work and life. She is a certified leadership and retirement coach.
