Our special guest last week was Amanda Zamara, who self-published her first book, But Where Would They Live?  Her book has been selling on Amazon for the past two weeks. Expensive proposition but worth the effort. She is working on her sequel and according to Kendra Pinkleman who has read the current book and is looking forward to the next book. Books are selling for $8.99 on Amazon. Several members purchased a copy of the book after her presentation.
Besides working on self-publishing books, she is a Special Advisory Council member and has become an Advocacy through the ARC of Snohomish County. She has two children with autism, ages 4 & 6. Amanda is undergoing special training through the Office Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and ARC to become an effective advocate. She credited Sherwood Community Services with providing her children with an effective start to their early learning education.
