Our speaker on Friday, January 5th was Diane from Project Linus.
Project Linus is headquarters are located in Belton, Missouri. Project Linus has chapters located across the United States and in Snohomish County. Diane from Project Linus, Snohomish County. Project Linus continues to grow and blankets are collected locally and distributed to children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or anywhere that a child might be in need of a big hug.
Since 1995, over 356,325+ blankets have been delivered to children in the United States. Diane is now working with King County as well as Snohomish County. Some of the children receiving blankets are from domestic violence, sexual abuse and more. There are at least two chapters per state but Texas where it all began, has many more. Washington has eight chapters.
