President-Elect Report

At the regular weekly meeting, February 6, 2009, President-Elect Debe Franz gave a report about the upcoming Rotary year. The 2009-2010 Rotary International theme is "The Future is in Your Hands." She recently attended the local Pre-Pets conference. This is for Presidents Elect of Rotary Clubs. She will attend the Zone PETS Conference next month.

She handed out a list of the Rotarians who will serve on the 2009-2010 Board. They are:

  • President           Debe Franz
  • President Elect   Sam Bryce
  • Past President   John Huber
  • Treasurer         Loren Hole
  • Secretary         Kathleen Friend
  • Club Service      Jim Kelly
  • Community Service   JD Hemmert
  • International Service   Barbara Knowles
  • Vocational Service   Dean Franz
  • Sergent-At-Arms   Larry Saint

We still need Rotarians for the following tasks:

  • Program Coordinator
  • Public Relations
  • Club Sunshine

She also introduced a District 5050 Visioning Team program. This is where Rotarians representing the District will come and meet with Club members as a group to launch an effort to reinforce the planning principles in the new Club Leadership Plan. More information will be available soon.
