Joan Tilton, Rotary Club of Arlington, was our guest speaker on Friday, March 10th requesting our Club's financial commitment for the Ndengelwa Water project in Kenya. The International Humanitarian Project is all about Clubs, Districts and the Rotary Foundation coming together to promote the common good and applying for a Global Grant. Funding for large projects can range from USD $15K to $200K.
Joan was asking our Club to join the Rotary Club of Arlington and the Rotary Club of Bungoma, Kenya to build a sustainable solar powered water supply for Namirembre Primary and Secondary Schools near Bungoma, Kenya.

The Club's International Service Committee will review the project and make a recommendation to the Board at their meeting on Tuesday, March 21st. Several Members of Rotary Club of Arlington including Dave Duskin, District Governor Nominee 2024-2025, attended the meeting with Joan.
