There is nothing like preaching to the choir. We are a club of 23 members having lost two members this past year and another on a six month leave of absence. It is everyone's responsibility to reach out to the community for potential club members and future leaders. On October 13th, District 5050 is sponsoring a District Membership Seminar with Rotary membership guru, Kristi Govertsen, about "Membership is Relationship" - a great opportunity to share what is working, gain new ideas and meet other Rotarians who are focusing on Club Membership.
We need to grow our membership ranks. To do this, a major effort must include membership recruitment by every member of our Club. The upcoming Chamber Mixer that we are co-hosting with the Lake Stevens Education Foundation is a great opportunity but we need the help and support of everyone in the club. Join me as we begin a renewed emphasis on membership. And, look at your calendar and be a part of the District Membership Seminar on Saturday, October 13th.
