Saturday, May 16, 2009 was the first ever Rotary Club Family Concert & Margaritaville. A beautiful, sunny day made this a fabulous event for over 200 people. About $3,000 (gross) was made from Duck Dash Ticket and beverage sales.
Many people commented that they had a fun time and plan to come back next year. One person even drove around the lake to find out about it when they heard the music, and a couple people arrived by boat.

Many families came and enjoyed the BBQ as well as the miniature golf and pinatas. The food was great, the sun was out, and a good time was had by all.

Thanks to the many Rotarians who helped with the event, and especially to JD for the idea and doing so much to make it successful--also to Kathy and David for their work on the committee, planning the event, and making it happen.
