David Alverez sent us a message recently about the LaCurvina Clinic-
A team of doctors has just left and we were able to serve so many thanks to their efforts and hard work. We have 12 Cuban doctors who are coming every 15 day to work in the clinic and we will keep the work with them and of course we will be looking for a more permanent doctor and nurse with us.
Everything here is great with a lot of enthusiasm and energy for keep working.
Thanks for be part of all of this goals and sure we will keep working hard and with all the projects with Rotary who has been our right hand in all of this work,

There is no way that I can capture of absolutely fabulous presentation given by Barbara Knowles, Ann Anderst, David Rapella and Marianne Lyle at our weekly meeting December 2, 2011 regarding the ceremony in Montericco dedicating the La Cuervina Clinic and Education Center. Marianne's DVD was fantastic capturing the emotion of the people of Guatemala and surrounding areas.
District 5050 Governor Jane Helten was in attendance for the presentation and asked the group if they were willing to contact David Truman of the Peach Arch Journal to get in a future edition as well as making presentations around District 5050. When John Huber was the club president, he asked Barbara to be the chair of the International Services Committee and the rest is history. Congratulations Barb and her team from inside and outside the club.
