LSHS Valhalla School Newspaper

Last month, the Club was contacted by a reporter for the Lake Stevens High School Valhalla student newspaper about our participation in the Homeless Student campaign. The reporter was doing an overall story on the struggles of life that homeless students face. The article focused on the struggles, community members creating clothing drive to benefit homesless students and Lil' Hungry Hearts helping with food to be sent home in backpacks each Friday plus ways that students can help serve the community.

Our Club was part of the article titled Local group puts "Service Above Self" and that we lived up to our motto through humanitarian efforts. The focus of the entire artiles was put together extremely well and covered a number of important areas on the struggles homesless students face as well as other groups involved in helping.
