Our guest speaker last Friday was Anya Joy, owner of the Hot Yoga studio in Lake Stevens. Anya and her husband, Carl, bought a house and moved to Lake Stevens over a year ago. During the same period, they opened their Hot Yoga studio. Although the current studio is located on 91st Avenue NE, they are looking for a larger space. Requirements are from 1,200 to 2,500 square feet

Their theory is that you can start practicing Yoga at any age and deepen your practice at any level. Their infrared heaters and humidifiers provide a perfect environment to enjoy all the health benefits of hot yoga classes.

Anya is working on a hot yoga program for kids 5-12 years old. Aerial yoga is another program that they offer in their studio. Anya's focus is on your realignment when you begin using their Hot Yoga studio. Anya commented that she is a coach and teacher at heart.

Another program that is offered by Anya is a Sound Bath program. Yoga provides balance. Their website lists several classes that they offer at their studio. They provide non-hot yoga classes as well.
