Home Hosting

Last Friday evening, our Club participated in Home Hosting from Rotarians and two Rotary Youth Exchange students (outbound) from attendees at the District Conference at the Tulalip Resort. We are indebted to Scott and Lisa for hosting this BBQ dinner at the Loop on Stitch Road. All totaled, we had twenty-two attendees including our guests. Our guests were: Pyaro (Pierre) Panjwani and Linda Whitehead from White Rock Clubs in Surrey, BC; Mike and Jean Griffin from the San Juan Island Club, plus Lenni Zonta outbound Youth Exchange student to Germany sponsored by Chilliwack and Ana Clark outbound to Peru sponsored by South Whidbey. Both Youth Exchange students will leave for their respective countries in August for a one year learning experience.

 

Besides Scott and Lisa, many of our club members brought food and dessert to compliment our salmon, hamburgers and chicken dinner. So thank you to all of you who brought food and participated in this Home Hosting event.
