It started with the new playground being built at Highland Elementary School about 18 months ago and finished on Wednesday, April 6th with the interactive pathway to the all-inclusive playground equipment completed. Our Club, along with matching funds from District 5050, obtained the Diamond level status helping fund this new all-inclusive playground.
Some of the images of the all-interactive pathway from the school to the old and new playground equipment. The process began on Saturday, morning April 2nd with seven Club members and resumed on Wednesday, April 6th with five Club members.
The school mascot and our club logo are part of the pathway project.
So much fun. It would be fun to see the faces of the students when they return to school on Monday. We've already seen some of the kids playing on the school grounds and came over for a visit while we were putting this all together.
