Family Center

An impromptu guest at the December 6th meeting was Beth Copoun from the Lake Stevens Family Center. She gave us an update on their 2012-2013 Annual Report. We always welcome impromptu guests who help keep our members informed of activities in the community. The goal of the Family Center is to keep families safe, healthy and stable. They are embedded in the community and fill the gaps in services in Lake Stevens and surrounding communities. Did you know that they helped 4,981 individuals, 10,553 duplicated visits with 498 volunteers representing 4,494 volunteer hours with 184 community partners? Beth distributed a list of kids' Christmas wishes to our members.  If you have some extra cash around, think about filling one of these children's Christmas wishes by contacting the Lake Stevens Family Center at www.lakestevensfamilycenter.org.
