Renowned Dr. Paul-Eliott Cobbs is a unique voice in the international music community with a solid performance reputation in Europe, especially Germany and Vienna. Educated in the Akademie for Musik, Vienna, Cobbs possesses an intimate knowledge of European masterworks combined with a rare expertise in American multiculturalism. Cobbs is a popular guest conductor with frequent appearances with orchestras and ensembles in Europe, Asia and the United States including the Vienna Festival Chamber Orchestra and other prominent Operas in Germany and Japan as well as the Seattle Symphony. Cobbs 2006 sold-out appearance in Carnegie Hall was resounding success. Cobbs is the Music Director of th eEverett Philharmonic Orchestra, guest conductor of the Sussex Symphony Orchestra in Brighton England, Music Director for the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association, which is one of the largest in the United States. Cobbs received his Doctorate in Conducting from the University of Washington and completed his undergraduate degree in Music Education at Wayne State University.
